I have been selling these kits since 2005 and they have been installed on hundreds of new, used and broken door handles with great success. I designed these inserts as a way to work around the flaws found in the plastic OEM and aftermarket handles. This repair will look completely stock from the exterior and does not interfere with any internal functions of the door or locks. Using this kit saves you $100-$250 since you won't have to buy new handles and then also pay a body shop to paint them to match your car. This kit also repairs those inferior low-dollar Chinese handle copies found on ebay and at local auto parts stores.

Three Kit Options

The Regular Kit includes all hardware needed to repair two handles including the brass tubes used for replacement hinge pins (SOLD OUT).

The Short Kit includes only the laser-cut hinge inserts to repair two handles. You supply the 5/32" brass tubes or 8-32 nuts and screws from any Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. (SOLD OUT).

The 1/2 Short Kit includes only the laser-cut hinge inserts to repair a single handle. You supply the 5/32" brass tubes or 8/32 nuts and screws from any Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. (SOLD OUT).

All kits require you to supply a small tube of JB Weld epoxy (slow-cure) and basic hand tools to complete the repair (see detailed info below).

The Short Kit and 1/2 Short kit require you to supply one 5/32" OD brass tube (K&S #128) or four 8-32 x 2" screws and nuts which are easily found at any hardware store.
